How it works

Play a randomizer seed in your browser.

Every item in A Link to the Past, shuffled somewhere new. No console needed. A tribute to the late z3rsim.com.

First time?

Pick a seed. Instant is fine. A seed is one exact shuffle, and the same seed always plays the same game.
Open what's green. A check is anywhere an item can hide, 216 in all. Green ones you can reach right now.
Beat Ganon. Nothing green left? Press Hint and it names the area holding you up. Press it again for the exact spot.

World map is the quick way in. Door by door is the real z3rsim: real doors, small keys, crystal switches and the castle escape.

Fan project for practice and fun. Not affiliated with Nintendo or alttpr.com. Original Z3R Simulator by Kyong. z3rsim.com is gone, and this rebuilds it from the ALTTPR-REFERENCE docs. Tinkerers can move nodes and swap room art in the room editor.
