Play a randomizer seed.
No console required.
Every item in A Link to the Past, shuffled somewhere else. Runs right here β no ROM, no emulator. A tribute to the late z3rsim.com.

A check is anywhere an item can hide β 216 of them. A seed is one exact shuffle; the same seed always plays the same game, which is how races work. Change nothing, press Roll a seed & play, and open whatever is green.
Opened everything green and still stuck? π‘ Hint works out which of the places you can reach is holding the game up, names the area, and β if you ask twice β the exact spot. In Original travel it lights the door to walk through next.

How it works
- World map travel is the quick way in: click any check you can reach. Original screens is the real z3rsim β one room at a time, with real doors, small keys, crystal switches, mirror portals and the castle escape.
- Item pool, checks and logic follow the VT randomizer β the same rules the original simulator used. Dungeon prizes and medallions work as they do on console.
- alttpr.com seeds can be rolled or pasted in, and come with a permalink you can patch a real ROM from.
Fan project for practice & fun. Not affiliated with Nintendo or alttpr.com. Original Z3R Simulator by Kyong β z3rsim.com is gone; this recreates it from the ALTTPR-REFERENCE docs. Tinkerers: the room editor lets you fine-tune map spots, node positions and room art.
